                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING WYANDOT
                   STREET LOCATED NORTHEAST FROM DESALES AVENUE,
                   NORTHWEST OF GLENWOOD DRIVE, MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned Wyandot Street located northeast from DeSales
         Avenue northwest of Glenwood Drive, more particularly described 

         herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part
         hereof by reference:
                  
                   Wyandot Street, a 40 foot wide right-of-way
                   beginning on the northeast line of DeSales
                   Avenue 217.15 feet northwest of the intersection
                   of the northeast line of DeSales Avenue with the
                   northwest line of Glenwood Drive, and extending
                   northeast some 152.6 feet between parallel lines
                   to the northeast line (if extended
                   northwestwardly) of lot 1, Subdivision of Part
                   of Block 27, Amended Plat of Glenwood Addition
                   No. 2, as shown by plat of record in plat book
                   14, page 110, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 146E-D-12 and
                   16.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this closure
         and abandonment is made subject to the following conditions:

                1. Subject to the approval of the City Engineer and
                   all public utilities.
               
                2. All existing easements are retained.
               
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
